Бикове и крави

Бикове и крави, позната още като Крави и бикове или Прасета и бикове е една стара игра за двама играчи, която се играе с хартия и молив, подобна на Мастърмайнд.

Това е игра с числа, която може би датира от преди век или повече. Тя се играе от двама противника. Играта може също да се играе с 3 цифри вместо 4.

На лист хартия всеки от играчите написва тайно число от 4 цифри. Всичките цифри трябва да са различни. Редувайки се играчите се опитват да познаят числото на противника, който дава броя на съвпаденията. Ако съвпадащите цифри са на точната позиция, това са "бикове", ако са на различна позиция, това са "крави". Пример:

  • Тайно число: 4271
  • Опит на противника: 1234
  • Отговор: 1 бик и 2 крави. (Бикът е "2", кравите са "4" и "1".)

Този, който познае тайното число на другият е победител. Ако първият играч намери числото, вторият прави също опит и ако успее, резултата е равен.

Тайните числа на Бикове и крави са обикновено 4 цифрени, но играта може да се играе с 3 до 6 цифрени числа (с 5 и 6 цифрени числа е по трудна отколкото с 4 цифрени).

Играта може също да се играe от два отбора от 2-3 играча. Играчите от всеки отбор дискутират преди да направят опит, както в шаха.

Понеже играта има прости правила, а е трудна и занимателна, има много компютърни варианти; често е включена в телефони и джобни компютри.
